Dressed in denims and a red tracksuit top, little Carol is overjoyed. Jesus has just healed her leg – and she is excited! An active youngster, Carol excelled at athletics and dancing. Some six months ago, her one leg mysteriously swelled. Oozing pus, the limb was so painful that Carol became heavily reliant on crutches, even dropping out of school because of the severe discomfort. With medical care scarce and expensive – and no husband to share the burden – her mother, Constance, knew not where to turn. News of the upcoming crusade brought the promise of hope. Seeing the posters advertising the event, Constance was determined to bring her daughter for prayer. On the Saturday evening, she did just that – and a miracle happened!

Carol explains her experience. “I felt so much pain when I was coming here. Then, after prayer, it disappeared! I now feel no pain whatsoever. I am able to walk without my crutches.” Carol smiles broadly. “I can go back to school,” she says. “I can go back to running and dancing. I can win prizes again!” Constance too is thrilled. “I am very, very happy,” she says. “This miracle will cause my relatives to believe in God. Even my own faith is stronger because of this. Now I know – Jesus heals!”
